It is natural for your breasts to grow during and after the pregnancy. During the final stages of the pregnancy, hormones are released in the body activating the milk glands that start the production. At first, the produced milk will be thick and full of protein. This makes it easy for the baby is digestion. Called colostrum, a few drops of this milk can leak out of the breast as a part of the testing process of the body. This milk is thicker than the normal breast milk and is a bit yellow in colour. Don’t worry about it as it is completely natural.

Usually, a woman does not having any issue with colostrum leaking from the breast. But your partner or spouse might notice it a little bit more. During sex, if the breasts are stimulated, colostrum can come out of the nipple.

 

Treatment for Leaking Breasts, Colostrum

 

Usually, there are only a few drops of colostrum leaked out of the nipples. However, if you are uncomfortable with it, you can try to add nursing pads inside your bra. These pads will absorb the colostrum before it gets soaked by the clothing.
