Pregnancy is known to be one of the most important stages in a woman’s life. It is marked by a lot of physical, emotional, and mental changes. The way from conception to birth is a long one. A preconception test before pregnancy is one of the best ways to endure that there are no pre-existing health issues that can harm the baby. Usually, the pre-conception tests include a detailed evaluation of your medical history, for instance, your medical history, vaccination and so on. 3. Diet & Lifestyle

Questions might be asked about your food and lifestyle habits. The intake of calories, the kind of diet you are on, habits such as alcohol or smoking; all of these will be monitored.

4. Medical History

One of the most asked about factors is the medical history of the patient. The doctor might ask you about the health issues running in your family that might pose as a problem for you. For instance, issues like preeclampsia, postpartum depression, etc are more likely to happen to you during childbirth if it had happened to your mother or grandmother.
Similarly, any underlying or chronic health issue with you, will also be closely monitored.

5. Birth Control

Your doctor will closely track your cycle. He or she will let you know when to stop taking your birth control pills.
